But I want to get it out to you and I want you to be able to think about it.

Send me some feedback because I would like to see what you think about it and how it can work on your life and how you can benefit from it.

So I am going to keep this short so you can benefit from it, move on and get something more.

What is Essentialism?

The book is by a man named Greg McKeown and the book is called Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less.

I have a kindle copy right here.

There is a concept that he is sharing in his book that is changing the way that I look at things, the things that I choose to involve myself in, and the way that I spend my time and organize my days.

Initially the idea is a little bit hard for me, thinking about essentialism and the idea of doing less, because I am the kind of person that wants to do more, I want to grow, I want to get into more things and I want to keep learning and keep developing so initially I was a bit resistant to the idea of reading this book.

Once I started reading I found it to be very powerful. Its started influencing a lot of the ideas that I have and the things that I’m doing.

The main thing about this book is simply this..

DO LESS BUT BETTER.”

And I would like to ask you to think about this idea. How could you do less but do it better? Do whatever you are doing in a much deeper way and more fulfilling way or even do more of what is important to you and less of so many different things.

Here is a quote from this book that will get you thinking, he says, “Essentialists see trade-offs.” I guess that’s trading off your time, ” I am going to let go of this so I can focus on that.”

Essentialists see trade-offs as an inherent part of life, not as an inherently negative part of life. Instead of asking ‘What do I have to give up?’ they ask, ‘What do I want to go big on?'”

Greg Mckeown

So the question that I want to leave you with in this post is:

What can this idea of doing less but better mean for me and my life?”

What can I go big on now?”

I do recommend that you read the book. Check it out and tell me what you think. Leave me a comment in the comment section below or come over to Facebook. I am going to put the post there and you can add your comments there or any quotes or ideas that you like.

Here is an affirmation for you.

I am so happy and grateful now that I make time for the important things in my life.”

This is Abe Stone!
