Who would you drop everything for right now, just to be able to sit with and learn from them or to simply get inspired?
I’m not a groupie but boy would I love to sit down and pick some celebrity brains in the personal development world, maybe Tony Robbins, Richard Branson, Robin Sharma ,or Louise Hay for starters.

Hi! This is Abe Stone, the life design coach and this is Coaching Really Works.
Today I have another video in the seven part series on how to start your morning.
I Live for These Experiences
A few days ago I was talking to a friend and she was going through some big things, she called me specifically because she needed an ear to listen and someone to talk to. She wanted a bit of coaching.
So she was telling me about her problems and experiences. It was very emotional for her, she was having a difficult time with something, her mind and she emotions just keep acting up.
I remembered something, it was something that I had read and it was something that after reading it I had used it in my life and I posted a post about it before. Click below to go to post:
Now the thing that I told her was..
When the mind is presented with these emotions, these feelings and these things that tend to pull you or whatever the problem is that you are dealing with that tends to just get you down and overwhelmed, just control your thinking process and simply say..
“Thank you for sharing”
Now, I will not get into the details of how that works or why. The interesting thing that I want to share with you is that this is something that I picked up when reading a book in my personal time when I read in the morning.
I was able to tale this very thing that I have learned and pass it on my friend. And this is very special for me. This is very important for me.
Not only did I benefit from it but I was also able to benefit others as well. This is how reading can make your life better and improve the lives of those around you.
Why First Thing?
When you start your day, just make it a part of your morning. It is a little bit difficult to fit it in later in the day or even in the evening when you feel tired.
Just take twenty minutes or thirty minutes and read a chapter. Read a few paragraphs. Even if you only have time to maybe read a page or two. Whatever you do, just keep bringing new things into your life, into your mind and into your awareness. (Read The Miracle Morning)
Keep learning, keep growing.
I love what Robin Sharma said about reading autobiographies. He said that reading an autobiography is like sitting down and having a cup of coffee with giants.
It can really be like that, you can get into the mind of those great people and great thinkers. People who either lived in the past or people who are today doing things that you are interested in or growing in ways that you want to grow.
Shortcut to 40 Years of Growth in Hours
Tony Robbins also compared it to getting the experience of a person condensed from a lifetime of maybe 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years, what they’ve gleaned out of that life and put into a book.
You can gain that understanding and insight in just the short time it would take you to read that book. You can make it a part of your life, instead of having to wait and agonize and learn, going through all the trials and things that they did.
Reading is an excellent shortcut for growing, learning, and making your life better.
Here is a quote for today,
Reading is to the mind while exercise is to the body.”
Joseph C. Addison
The affirmation for today is,
I am fully committed into learning, studying and growing.”
And I want to leave you with one last thought before I go.
When you read and you are learning, it is very important that you take action.
You don’t just read, put the book on the shelf and forget it about it. Make it happen in your life. Use it. Find the things that will make a growth and make you change and put them into action and see your life change.
[reminder]What is a great book that you have read recently or what is a book that you are interested in reading? [/reminder]I am going to put a reading list below of some great books that I really like on different topics and I hope you find them helpful.
