I just want to give you something really short and really special. It’s that time of year, when people start to think about love more and you know Valentine’s comes up.
Around emotional and romantic love there’s just so much hurt there is so much debate, so many problems that come up, yet it’s one of the things that just drives us and we need it and we want it so much in our lives.
There’s a quote from Liam Neeson that was posted, one of my friends posted and it was very popular going around a lot on Facebook and it’s about those things that love is not, “Love is not the loneliness, love is not the hurt, love is not the jealousy, it’s not the envy” and I’d like to add a whole list of other things that it is not, it’s not the demanding, it’s not the imposing, it’s not the limiting, it’s not the exclusiveness that so many people tend to associate with love and all the hurt that comes when they don’t get what they think love is.
“Everyone says love hurts, but that is not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts….

The thing about love is that a lot of people are looking for it outside themselves and when those things fail or change or don’t work, they see that as love being bad, love hurting and love going wrong.

That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is.[/shareable]
[shareable cite=”Martin Luther King, Jr.”]I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. #lovequote[/shareable]

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.[/shareable][shareable cite=” Victor Hugo, Les Misérables”]To love or have loved, that is enough. Ask nothing further. There is no other pearl to be found in the dark folds of life. #lovequote [/shareable]

These circuits are deeply embedded in the human brain. They’re going to survive as long as our species survive on what Shakespeare called, this ‘mortal coil.’ [/shareable] [shareable cite=” Anatole France”] You learn to speak by speaking, to study by studying, to run by running, to work by working; in just the same way, you learn to love by loving.[/shareable] [shareable cite=”M. [shareable cite=”Karl A. Menninger”]“One does not fall in love, one grows into love and love grows in him.”[/shareable]All right, now here’s your affirmation for today. Write it down, put it by your bedside, put it in the bathroom, in the kitchen, somewhere, you’re going to see it twice a day when you first get up and when you’re going to sleep.
