What Makes a Good Life and Happy People?

About three hundred years ago, King Frederick II of Germany wanted to know what language a baby would grow up to speak, if they were left to develop on their own and not taught a language.

He assigned 50 babies foster mothers, who were tasked to care for but not hold, touch, or talk to the babies. The experiment failed because all 50 babies died. You can see that another person’s TOUCH is an absolute necessity for a child to LIVE and develop healthily, but we really do need each other a lot more than that, if we are to have a good, happy life.

Then just a couple of months ago a friend gave me a smartwatch with a buzz to my arm and I was able to see all my notifications even faster, with a flick of my wrist. This ended up driving me crazy and I discovered reason why.

As a professional coach, I encounter folks just like yourself who hire me to help them achieve a goal, overcome a challenge, or to solve something in their lives. The first thing I do with them is to give them a list of questions which basically ask them to get honest with themselves and rate where they are on a simple 1 to 10 scale of where they are in each area of their lives. How to Be Happier Working Through Your To Do List

Now one would think of eating their grandma, but I read that the kids said, “Let’s eat grandma!” Sounds terrible but if you add a comma it’s a different experience. “Let’s eat, grandma!”

That’s a critical writing mistake that completely changes the outcome of the conversation, but the subconscious mind has a challenge with the actual words we use as well. The self-talk words we use play a huge role in the way our days and lives turn out.
